What is WAR ARCHIVE?
WAR ARCHIVE is an Australian visual-history brand built around archival Second World War imagery. Selected photographs are restored, colourised or reworked into posters, canvas and clothing while keeping the historical context visible.
Are the products made to order?
Yes. Products are produced after an order is placed rather than held as finished inventory.
Are posters framed?
Unless a product page specifically states otherwise, WAR ARCHIVE poster listings are supplied unframed.
Why can colours look different on screen?
Screen brightness, display calibration, paper, fabric and printing methods can all affect the final appearance. Small differences between the digital preview and the physical product are normal.
How do I know what size I am ordering?
The selected size and product variant are shown on each product page before you add an item to cart. Check the listed measurements carefully before ordering.
Can I return an item if I change my mind?
Because products are made to order, change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not generally offered. This does not affect rights that apply under consumer law. See Shipping & Returns.
What if my order arrives damaged or misprinted?
Contact us through the Contact page with your order number and clear photographs of the issue so we can assess it.
Will my order have tracking?
Tracking is provided where supported by the fulfilment and shipping service used for your order. Tracking details are sent after dispatch when available.
Does WAR ARCHIVE endorse the people or organisations shown?
No. Historical people, uniforms, symbols and organisations are presented in documentary, artistic and educational context. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement of their ideology, conduct or beliefs.
